Terms of Service

Version 2026-07-13

1. Who we are

TheraFound (“we”, “us”) provides AI-visibility measurement, optimisation services, directory listings and website hosting for licensed or registered therapy professionals. TheraFound is currently operated by Andrew Repton, based in London, United Kingdom, and is in the process of incorporating as a UK limited company; these terms will be updated with the company's registered details at that time. You can contact us at catherine@therafound.co.uk.

2. The service

We measure whether and how third-party generative AI systems (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity) mention you in response to test queries; we provide reports, recommendations and, on paid plans, optimisation work and website hosting designed to improve your visibility to such systems.

3. No guarantee of outcomes

(a) Generative AI systems are operated by third parties. We do not control, and cannot influence directly, what any AI system says, retrieves, ranks, recommends or omits. Their outputs vary between runs, users, regions and versions, and may change at any time without notice.

(b) We warrant that we will perform our services with reasonable care and skill, using the methodology described at purchase. We do not warrant, guarantee or represent that you will be mentioned, ranked, recommended or cited by any AI system, appear in any search results, receive client enquiries, referrals, or any increase in business. Our service gives you, in our professional judgement, the best available chance of visibility; it cannot promise the result.

(c) Visibility scores in our reports are measurements sampled at a point in time from inherently variable systems. Scores may go down as well as up, including for reasons unrelated to our work or yours.

(d) Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including our duty to perform services with reasonable care and skill, or liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

4. Money-back promise (paid plans)

Where a money-back promise is stated at purchase (for example, a refund if your visibility score has not risen within a stated period), it is exactly that: a promise to refund fees on the stated conditions. It is not a warranty that any outcome will occur, and your sole remedy under it is the refund described.

5. Your account and content

You confirm you hold a valid professional licence or registration and that all information you publish through us (profiles, sites, articles) is accurate and compliant with your professional body's advertising rules. You are responsible for your published content; we may remove content that is unlawful or misleading. You retain ownership of your content; you grant us a licence to host, display and structure it (including in machine-readable formats consumed by AI systems) while your account is active.

6. Subscriptions and cancellation

Plans renew monthly until cancelled via the billing portal. Consumers have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of purchase under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Because our service (running your scan, publishing your site) begins immediately, by subscribing you request that we start providing it during that 14-day period and acknowledge that, once the service has been fully performed, your right to cancel is lost; where it has only been partly performed, you may still cancel but may be charged for what you have used. On cancellation, hosted sites are unpublished after 30 days; content export is available on request at no charge.

7. Free scans

Free accounts include one visibility scan per day. Free scan reports are partial by design; complete reports are a paid feature. Full free-scan reports are retained for 30 days; your first visibility score is kept as a baseline so we can show your progress over time. We may change free-tier limits at any time.

8. Acceptable use

No scraping, resale of reports, automated bulk scanning, or use of the service to assess practitioners other than yourself or those you are professionally authorised to represent.

9. Liability cap

Subject to 3(d), our total liability to you arising from the service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profits, business or goodwill. Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days before taking effect. The version you accepted, and each version you subsequently accept, is recorded against your account.

11. Governing law

England and Wales; courts of England and Wales (consumers retain any mandatory local protections).
